Protection Of Rights:

If you were born in the U.S you automatically have three equals rights. Life, liberty, and property which the government protects. The government makes sure no one can take that away from you. If they do the bad person will go to jail. The government also makes sure everyone is respected in their own ways

Providing Public services

The government will do the things that make life in the community easier and that people usually would not do on their own. Some of the things the government does are build sewer systems and check to make sure the meat in stores is fresh

2. Maintain Order

Another one of Governments purposes is to maintain order, or to make sure that everything is under control. If two people argue over something, Government helps them resolve the issue to make sure that things don't get worse later on. Without Government, we wouldn't be able to act like normal human beings.

Providing a National Defense:

The government also protects America. They protect use from enemies from other countries. The people that help with is the army, navy, air force, and coast guard. Not only do they protect us, but try to make a good relationship with other countries.

Direct Economic Decisions:

The government makes choices that make our community safe. Which includes laws and keeping people safe.
